EVERYDAY
MASSIVE
NEWS

Meet EM’s new CEO.

I’ve been at the helm of Everyday Massive for quite a few years now, as founder and CEO, and it’s been incredibly fulfilling guiding this team through the various stages of growth. However, there comes a point for every leader where the idea creeps in that for the company to continue to grow and mature, the best person for the job isn’t necessarily you!

Choosing a successor can be a strange thing when your entire identity is wrapped up in your work (just ask Logan Roy*). Yet for me, it was surprisingly easy.

We’ve always homegrown our talent at EM, and continue to dedicate a massive amount of time developing our people. When considering whom to hand over the reins, it was always going to be to someone who was already part of the company. Someone who understands our vision and mission. Someone who’s helped develop our values, and lived and breathed them every day. Someone who shares the same beliefs around humans and our own employee experience. And someone who understands that when we work with an organisation, it’s truly collaborative.

Timothy Evans has been the Head of Strategy for Everyday Massive for the last couple of years, and has been with us for over 5 years. In that time, he’s worked in pretty much every role (except designer; his whiteboard scrawls remain… open to interpretation).

Tim is highly strategic, driven by data and outcomes, commercial, empathetic, and always on the lookout for innovative ways to add value for our collaborators. Tim is also one of the most emotionally intelligent people I’ve met — an incredible asset in leading and continuing to develop our team. I’m thrilled to see him rise to this next challenge, and have no doubt he’ll tackle it with the same drive, openness and level headedness as always.

As for me, I’m far from putting myself out to pasture. I’ll be stepping into the new role of Chief Visionary Officer (CVO) where I’ll happily spend my time strategising, planning, spending time with our collaborators and seeking to understand their current, emerging and long term challenges. I’m excited about what the future holds for Everyday Massive and the ever-evolving field of employee experience.

If you’re interested to talk more about where we’re headed, the future of employee experience or how we can work together, contact either Tim or me. We’d love to chat.

* The trailer for Succession season 3 just dropped. So good.
