Celebrating the women we work with.
This year, the theme for International Women’s Day, ‘Choose to Challenge’, is one that really resonates. As a company, our vision and values are founded on the belief that challenges are catalysts for growth, and constantly questioning the typical beliefs and assumptions around work.
Why should business performance come at the cost of safety and wellness? Why does complexity need to be complicated? Why shouldn’t the employee experience matter as much (or more) than the customer experience? How could we create a world where people go to work happy, and go home happier?
When I founded Everyday Massive fourteen years ago, we didn’t begin with an inclusion policy or recruitment strategy. We never intentionally set out to create a workplace filled with talented women. Nor did we set out to work with women at the forefront of their respective fields.
The fact that both occurred only really registered years later — a realisation that our work had given us an opportunity to work with some truly incredible people. These were, and continue to be, women who are changing the future of work. Not by following what’s been done before, but by challenging the status quo and reimagining what’s possible in the workplace.
We’ve seen our female collaborators set new industry benchmarks and change the lives of hundreds of thousands of people working at some of the world’s largest organisations. Many I consider friends. All of whom I respect and admire.
There are so many I could mention — far too many to list. So instead, here are five women I’m fortunate to work with every day, and several women we work with who inspire them.
Narelle.

Stephanie, Rebecca, and the team who prepare and release global safety standards across Amazon. They play such an important role in protecting a workforce of 1.2 million people, across 28 countries, in all kinds of high-risk work enviroments — I can't imagine how complex it is! I really admire how they never lose sight of the people who who are at the heart of their Safety Management System, and they think big when it comes to developing unique and engaging ways to train people.

I really admire Krista — for her, there's no challenge too big or too small. ANGELA CAHILL
SAFETY TRAINING PROJECT MANAGER
AMAZON
Collaborating with Angela and the team at Amazon was an incredible experience of collaboration and creativity. It was a great opportunity to problem-solve together and deliver highly visual and engaging micro-learning modules that are now helping Associates on the frontline spot hazards and control risks. The end result was a beautifully designed series of learning modules that distil larger chunks of information into easy to understand bite-sized pieces.
