Timing is everything, and Dave’s was impeccable. He managed to squeeze in a whole week at the Everyday Massive offices before COVID-19 forced us to abandon ship to work from home.
Dave is a talented animator, bringing a deft hand and discerning eye to communication touchpoints for our collaborators, turning the mundane into moving works of art. It’s no surprise then, he claimed best background in our morning Zoom huddle for this truly unnerving image looming over his shoulder, and his Friday afternoon drinks appearance as a daisy.
One day, when we all emerge from our various lounge rooms, studies, bedrooms and attics, I’m looking forward to getting to know Dave better in person. In the meantime, I live for random appearances by Mr Parsley (Dave’s Maltese Shihtzu), his enthusiastic Zoom contributions, and work that continues to amaze.
