WELCOME ABOARD,
DAVE, TAMIKA
AND CAROLYN

We’re gonna need a bigger boat.

This week we welcome three new faces to the Everyday Massive team, which will make for an interesting return to the EM offices in July. Will there be enough desks, or will it go all Hunger Games for the most desirable positions? Will any of us be capable of social interaction with actual humans? I for one look forward to other people’s awkwardness and the absence of hugging.

But — to introductions!

Dave. Design

Dave is a skilled designer with a Masters in Marketing, a compelling podcast, two big dogs and an even bigger thirst for Kraken. He also introduces the very grown-up business problem of having not one, not two, but three Daves on the team. Suggestions on how to manage, please?

Does one refer to our Three Daves by number (chronologically, either in order of joining or by age), surname only, or first name plus surname initial? As these all seem quite impersonal, we’re thinking nicknames would be preferable. And as New Dave does not currently have a good one (I refuse to call him ‘Lidders’, ‘Liddy’ or ‘D-Lyd’), ‘Davo’ it is.

Tamika. Experience Coordinator

Tamika (the first and only) takes on the much needed role of Jen-wrangling. Throughout our history many have tried, fewer have succeeded. Simply to behold Jen’s calendar is to invite madness. But I’m sure Tamika will be... fine?

We jest. A talented photographer, her empathy for creatives makes Tamika the ideal sidekick. She also takes the total number of Golden Retrievers called ‘Sonny’ at EM to two.

Carolyn. Writer

Carolyn brings her hefty experience in copywriting, specialising in journalism, publishing and corporate communications. She balances kids, a blog, health and wellbeing, wine and work with seemingly effortless panache, which is at least four more than I can manage, to be quite honest.
